The Widya Praja Government Science Journal is a scientific journal published by Lembaga Riset dan Pengkajian Strategi Pemerintahan- Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (the Strategic Research and Studies in Governance- Institute of Home Affairs Governance). This journal contains theoretical concepts and research results in government science, after going through a review process conducted by reviewers. Selected articles from this review process starting in 2017 with the issue of Vol. XLIII Number 1 is available in an online version that can be accessed freely and in a printed version. The journal management is done by using the Open Journal System. Meanwhile, a printed version of this journal is available starting from the early years of the Institute of Governance Sciences (IIP), which in 2004 joined the College of Home Affairs Governance (STPDN) to become the Institute of Home Affairs Governance (Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri or abbreviated as IPDN).

This journal contains theoretical concept and research results in public administration study. These articles chosen after reviewing process since 2017 has been available for online version that could be accessed freely, while the print version is already available since first published by Institut Ilmu Pemerintahan (IIP) which since 2004 was merged with Sekolah Tinggi Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (STPDN) and became Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri (IPDN).
